Senior Lecturer Veterinary Pathology
Murdoch University delivers an internationally recognized, AVMA-accredited veterinary science program. The School of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University integrates specialists in clinical and anatomical pathology, a state-of-the-art diagnostic lab, and microbiology services. Postgraduate students gain hands-on experience through diagnostic services at our Animal Hospital.
A Senior Lecturer within the Clinical or Professional Scholar track is expected to have a record of clinical and professional excellence within the field of veterinary clinical pathology, and to have experience in the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training. This position makes a considerable contribution to all teaching activities within the discipline, as well as a substantial contribution to the College and profession.

This Continuous, Full Time position attracts a remuneration of $132,950 – $143,036 plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

The role requires:
1. Veterinary degree registrable by the Veterinary Surgeons' Board of Western Australia, along with board certification in veterinary pathology (eg. Dip ACVP, Dip ECVP, FANZCVS, or equivalent) or extensive relevant experience in clinical and research pathology.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a pathology clinical service, contributing to advancements in diagnostic practice and clinical research.
3. Demonstrated capacity to work independently under broad direction, exercising initiative in research, clinical practice, and academic responsibilities, while contributing to team leadership.
4. Demonstrated experience in supervising and training research students, contributing to research leadership in veterinary pathology.
