As a Production Operator you could be asked to work at any plant across the site; these could include Raw Plant operations, which covers intake of peanuts during harvest through shelling and packaging of raw peanuts, Blanching Plant operations where the raw peanuts undergo further processing either to be sold or moved into the Value Adding Plant operation where peanuts are roasted and processed for our customers.ResponsibilitiesEffective and efficient machinery operation across our manufacturing plant whilst ensuring Safety, Quality, and Food safety is always maintainedPerforming Repetitive Manual Handling TasksGeneral Cleaning and Supporting Maintenance ActivitiesSafe Operations of Forklifts – Skilled Licenced Operator (desirable)About youExperience in a similar role – previous food manufacturing experience (highly desirable)Motivated and great working attitude to meet peak demandsAvailability and flexible to suit team rosters across the PlantReliable with transport available to attend workAbility to uphold Safety and quality requirements as a core valueAbility to pass a “fit for work” assessment, including drug testExcellent teamwork and communication skillsForklift licence and driving experience (highly desirable)The Bega Story Bega Cheese Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
