This role is as a disability support worker and the key responsibilities include: Provide a safe and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of clients, assisting with social support, personal care, domestic tasks, and transportation. Maintain a clean and safe work setting in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and guidelines. Follow management's shift and support plans, adhere to established protocols with other service providers, and respond appropriately to challenging behaviours and situations. Implement Greenleaf Care Services' aims and objectives competently, comply with all organizational policies and funding guidelines, and engage in risk management. Contribute to effective communication within the organization and participate in performance appraisals, service evaluations, and managing potential risks. Maintain all administrative requirements, including record keeping (e.g., client services information and confidential files), reports, and data collection, adhering to protocols with other service providers. Undertake training and professional development as directed by management and participate in both internal and external evaluations of services.
