We are looking for Urban or Environmental Planner. 29th November, 2024 Planner The Climate, Risks and Approvals team currently has an opportunity for an Urban and/or Environmental Planner to join their team in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast or Sydney. Depending on your level of experience we will also consider Melbourne and Perth. Water Technology is an employee-owned Australian water business. We are looking for someone with 1-7 years of experience in consulting, public sector or similar, who has a strong understanding of natural hazards and/or environmental assessments and approvals. This opportunity will have you rolling up your sleeves to get involved in: Multiple projects across a number of natural hazards, design, EIA Assisting seniors with natural hazard and environmental assessments, and approvals Managing your own projects depending on your level of confidence Projects across Australia Collaborate with other disciplines in the organisation Some of the key skills we are looking for are: Bachelor of Urban Planning, Natural Sciences and/or Engineering. At least 1 year's work experience in a relevant field. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under supervision. Ability to collaborate with a team and work autonomously. Intermediate computer skills including MS Suite and spatial analysis. Report writing skills. Understanding of Stakeholder Management.
