City Medical Practice is a General Practice clinic located in Burnie.
Our clinic supports a total of 10 General Practitioners.
We support patients through their medical journeys.
As such, this role requires a high level of empathy, patience, efficiency and communication skills, as we deliver patient-centered care in a kind, calm and professional manner.
Key Duties include:
Answering incoming calls or emails Responding to patient enquiries Using practice management software to schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records Preparing and processing Payments and Claims Managing bookings Managing referrals and incoming correspondence Collecting accurate patient information and updating patient details Delivering empathetic, patient-centered service at the reception desk Transcribing and sending medical reports General administration and reception duties, including faxing, scanning, and emails Covering staff during annual leave periods, when required Working with our medical practitioners and providing focused admin assistance and support About You:
Positive, kind, hard-working and compassionate Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to develop rapport with patients Able to build and maintain strong connections with medical practitioners Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to a fast pace that constantly has change, multi-task and learn new skills quickly and efficiently Passionate about enhancing the patient experience and providing care and support Reliable and honest with a strong work ethic Previous medical receptionist experience is beneficial, but not required Location and Benefits:
