About the Role
We are currently seeking a Water Treatment Operator to join our Water Supply and Quality team.
This role will be based in Broken Hill, NSW and requires working various shift patterns including weekends.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water for our customers through monitoring and controlling the water treatment process.
Key Responsibilities
* Operation and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants
* Water sampling, analysis, recording and reporting
* Operation of Pumping Stations and Pipelines and Reservoirs
* Monitoring and adjustment of plant and equipment
* Corrective action associated with plant processes and equipment
What You Need To Know
You will be part of a team that works together to achieve great things.
As a Water Treatment Operator, you will have the opportunity to gain a Certificate 3 in Water Operations or similar relevant qualifications.
Negotiations for NSW Fluoride Plant Operator training can also be discussed.
Requirements
* Workplace Health & Safety experience
* Water Treatment Operations experience
* Sound analytical and mathematical skills
* Drivers Licence
