Job Responsibilities
1. Lead delivery of all advance scientific data models and analytics responsible for all Credit and Fraud Risk decisions across Optus Group – including but not limited to payment fraud, device intelligence, network fraud analytics, policy and scorecard updates.
2. Lead the design and strategy changes responsible for managing over 3m applications per year through automated systems decisions within SLA.
3. Plan and track the key priorities for Group Credit and Finance group to meeting annual goals.
4. Partner with all relevant senior stakeholders to deliver improved financial performance across Optus Group.
5. Translate complex analysis into easily understood concepts and reporting for stakeholders.
6. Experience in a Finance/Data science role with a specialization in data modeling and a demonstrated ability to execute data processing tasks, including auditing, preparation, transformation, and aggregation using “Databricks”, “SQL” & “Python” or “R”.
7. Demonstrated ability to lead the development and deployment of machine learning models and ensuring models deployed continue to meet business requirements.
8. A background in a Credit, Fraud and Collections environment is highly desirable and you will have solid experience with analytical problem solving and possess the following proven skills.
9. Ability to work in an environment with constant change and diverse challenges in a highly competitive market.
10. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent applied quantitative field.
Work Environment
3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
