We're looking for an Instructional Design Specialist to join our Learning & Capability (Youth Justice) Team at the Department of Justice and Community Safety. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective learning programs that meet the needs of our staff and stakeholders.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have:
* Seasoned expertise in applying instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and experiential learning theory
* Strong expertise in online learning platforms, including proficiency in Articulate and Articulate Rise
* Advanced visual design skills using tools such as Captivate, Lectora, Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator
* Extensive experience in project management of learning products and use of project management tools such as MSPRoject and understanding or PMBok and/or Prince project methodologies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A strong background in instructional design and adult learning theory
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and key stakeholders
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines

Salary: $85,418 - $115,210 per annum
