Role Overview
Our network of regional workshops support our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.
The success of our operations is founded on a team based approach to projects and you will have the opportunity to work together with, and support a range of qualified tradespeople to be successful on all projects.
Responsibilities
As a boilermaker your duties will include the fabrication and repair of fixed plant and mobile equipment.This would involve the marking out, cutting, assembly and welding of structural steel, platework and wear components.
You will play a key role in reducing plant downtime for clients through the efficient servicing of all machinery and effective fault identification
Maintain a safe and healthy workplace
Skills and Experience
1. Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
2. At least 2 years experience in heavy industry with a background in mining preferred
3. Able to read and understand mechanical and shop detail drawings
4. Extensive fabrication, repair and maintenance experience
5. Practical communication, leadership and team building abilities
6. Relevant computer literacy
7. Ability to work in remote locations
8. Current WA drivers’ license. A HR License would be advantageous, although not essential
