THE ROLE:
Joining a busy team, in a permanent, full-time capacity this role is vital in the operational excellence of their service and is at times, the first step in a complex supply chain process.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
1. High-level touch points with customers across multiple communication channels to kick off their supply chain and logistics requirements and subsequent daily updates.
2. Assisting with various approval, documentation, and quality control processes.
3. Working closely with internal teams such as pricing, finance and planning to ensure accuracy of information flow through to customer.
4. Identity and communicate potential process improvements.
ABOUT YOU:
You will be a detail orientated and relationship focused person.
5. Previous experience in a similar role within airfreight operations or customer service in a time sensitive, biopharma, cold chain or complex freight or logistics organisation.
6. Global mindset, you have a solid understanding of import/export operations, global geographies and time zones.
7. Ability to engage with customer around product and services offerings with a solutions focused mindset.
8. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
