This role is a Head Office, phone-based, high activity sales role and this is an exciting time to join the team. There is an opportunity to grow into an Account Manager role and beyond for high achievers.Based in the Yeppoon head office and reporting to the team leader, this role will be responsible for engaging their customers and leads to buy, educate and assist to sell their premium products. Other responsibilities are:Regular communication with distributors, their team members and shared customers.Provide ideas to customers to increase their sales and satisfaction.High level call outcomes and call rate.Support of the marketing and promotional efforts to be delivered with ease.Excellent database input and management.Keeping yourself updated with valuable industry/customer/region information and sharing this with the wider sales team.Help develop the sales approach as a telemarketing team.Support the wider sales team including some potential business travel to assist sales team members in tradeshow participation/presentations, etc.Support of Keppel Brand manufacturing and other team members if required.Ideally, you are currently in a similar role focused on driving business through the effective use of tele sales and a positive communication style. FMCG experience is beneficial but certainly not essential.With a genuine passion to impact the commercial strategies of a significant business, you are capable of making sound decisions and are renowned for your tenacity in ‘closing the deal’ and for building strong relationships with your customers.This is an opportunity to really make your mark. You will be provided with regular coaching and training to ensure efforts are continually improving the quality and effectiveness of the sales calls and be supported by a working environment and culture that would be arguably hard to equal in today’s business environment. An attractive remuneration that includes base salary and super will be offered to the successful candidate.
