About the Role:
This is a 38-hour-per-week position with rotating weekends off, allowing for a good work-life balance.
Working in the beautiful Yarra Valley @ The Grand Hotel Healesville, established in 1888, we pride ourselves on quality food, beverage, and customer service.
We are looking for an exceptional Chef with extensive experience in a country pub environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and executing creative, high-quality dishes
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain and elevate culinary standards
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

About You:
You will report to the Head Chef and Venue Manager, working a rotating roster over 7 days including lunch and dinner, and breakfast on weekends.
You must have a great sense of humour, be passionate about food, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a successful candidate, you will have successfully completed Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and have the ability to work under pressure.
