We are looking for a Senior Scaffold Draftsperson with Layher scaffolding systems and Revit or Sketch-up software experience. ABOUT THE ROLE Primarily focused on drafting high quality, digital residential and commercial scaffold plans and drawings, the Senior Scaffold Draftsperson will partner with clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet their individual design and operational needs. Essential Experience Revit or Sketch-up software Layher scaffolding systems Minimum of two years work experience in drafting scaffolding plans; A working knowledge of how to construct scaffolding (kwik-stage) at various stages of a project; Demonstrable experience in interpreting architectural plans; Sound capabilities in operating computer aided design (CAD) and/or iScaff; and, Microsoft office products; Strong written and verbal communication skills; A high level to attention to detail; and, Have a White Card and a current Australian drivers license Duties and Responsibilities Your duties and responsibilities will be wide ranging and would include: Interpreting construction drawings in conjunction with site plans and discussion/instructions provided by Company Supervisor and/or Client or resulting from site inspections; Preparing accurate and highly detailed scaffolding 2D and 3D drawings and plans using nominated software such as iScaff, AutoCAD and others; Preparing detailed and accurate inventory/pack list calculated on the prepared drawings; Working according to the Australian construction standards and practices; and computer- based technologies relevant to your role; Collaborating with industry partners to deliver specialised designs to suit unique projects; and, Undertaking ongoing training as required.
