Band 4 - Salary Range $72,119 to $76,460 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

The Opportunity
Melton City Council is seeking a Business Support Officer to work alongside and support our Engineering and Asset Services team, who are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our community’s infrastructure. We strive to deliver exceptional services and maintain the infrastructure that supports our community.
Reporting to and supporting the Manager Engineering and Asset Services, the Business Support Officer provides critical administrative and operational support across a range of business units and actively liaises with our community, staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating correspondence, including responses to customer and Councillor enquiries.
Scheduling, developing agendas and minuting meetings.
Managing others’ calendars.
Processing payments.
Day to day administrative support across the Engineering and Asset Services department.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Post-secondary qualification in administration (below diploma level) plus some experience in an administrative role.
Experience working in and supporting multi-disciplinary teams to achieve great outcomes.
Proven administrative skills, including the ability to coordinate correspondence, meetings, minutes, diaries and payments.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own work activities and respond to ongoing customer requests.
Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
