Role Summary
This role is responsible for delivering competency-based training and assessment programs across the Region, providing guidance to Volunteer Unit Trainers in the delivery of training.
The position enhances Operational Readiness by supporting the Unit Support Teams in developing plans to reduce training gaps in Units and Regional Operational Capability Standards.
The Trainer maintains volunteer training and assessment records to meet VICSES Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance and VICSES Health and Safety standards.
The Victoria State Emergency Service plays a major role in Victoria's emergency response activities during emergencies, including Flood, Storm, Earthquake, Tsunami, Landslide, and supporting other agencies as required under section 6A of the VICSES Act.

As Australia's largest road rescue network, we have specialist teams responding 24/7 to road accidents and trauma incidents, assisting Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria, and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during bushfires and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
