The Company:
Our client is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. This position will sit within the Direct-to-Consumer department based at the Sydney Olympic Park Office. The primary function of the role is to assist in the ownership of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channel sales while being a key enabler to drive the execution of Online sales strategies.
This role will be responsible for developing and refining contents, product and price positioning, and identifying market opportunities across multiple channels to achieve sales growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Drive the development and execution of online sales/business strategy to achieve desired sales growth
* Identify sales gaps, perform analysis, and execute contingency plans to consistently meet sales KPIs
* Monitor and analyse sales performance and provide regular reporting on traffic conversion and promotional effectiveness; collaborate with internal analytics resources to mine data for insights
* Manage all sales portals and microsites – own promotional activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of input and uploading of information onto the e-Commerce platform management system, e.g. duration, products, promotions, stock-on-hand, and price.
* Monitor the operation and identify any potential issues on the system, work towards a sound resolution, and escalate any technical issues to the relevant teams
* Support the ideation, creation and execution of sell-out enhancement programs with the internal DTC team, product category teams and marketing functions
* Assist in the conceptual and technical operation of the e-Commerce platform
* Work with business users to discuss, recommend, explain, and reconcile desired functionality and technology capabilities.
* Hands on approach to site content and design utilising content management systems for product, price and promotional management across the Samsung online eco-system
* Drive web merchandising, web content, and web design in partnership with the wider Direct-to-Consumer team to optimize the customer journey and conversions
* Champion the delivery of category-defining digital experience
About YOU:
* 3+ year’s experience in an e-Commerce sales role within a result-driven, fast-paced environment
* Proven history of successfully launching new products or online services
* Proficient in e-commerce content management systems and operations (i.e. SAP CX Backoffice [Hybris] preferred)
* A self-starter with excellent problem solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Responsible, organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines
