About the Opportunity
This part-time Community Nurse role supports our Home Health platform servicing clients in the Wagga Wagga area and surrounds. Our nursing services operate between business hours, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individualised clinical based nursing care to customers in their home environment, including wound care, catheter care, PEG changes and management, bowel care, and medication management.
* Conduct nursing assessments and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each customer's needs.
* Support, mentor, and deliver clinical training to our Care Workers in the community, ensuring they provide the highest standard of care.
* Liaise closely with Nursing Managers, Branch Managers, Allied health professionals, and community networks to maintain the highest possible standard of care.

About You
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* A Nursing degree with AHPRA registration
* A valid Australian driver's license and insured vehicle
* The ability to travel, as required by the role
* Experience working in a community or similar setting
* Demonstrated knowledge or willingness to learn aspects of catheter care, catheter changes, wound care, PEG management, chronic, and complex care, as well as writing care plans
* The ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Full vaccination against COVID-19 (provide evidence)
