This 'end to end' influencing role has been created to support the development and growth of the organisations overseas 3PL site whilst creating a strategic supply chain framework across the wider business. You will be working with and become part of an engaged and passionate leadership team. Duties Strategic supply chain review Negotiation and supplier management System development and implementation Forecasting and inventory management Compliance and best practice Lead, motivate and influence your team and the wider group Performance monitoring Operational oversight Skills & experience We seek an end-to-end procurement and supply chain professional who has created an international supply chain system. You will have demonstratable experience across strategic sourcing, forecasting, warehousing and logistics in a high precision engineering or technical environment. Bringing a collaborative and coaching demeanour, you will be able to guide and influence internal and external parties that do not necessarily report directly to this role. Procurement and supply chain management in a technical environment such as automotive, aeronautical or precision engineering International experience working collaboratively with 3PL sites Demonstratable experience creating an end-to-end supply chain framework Strategic sourcing Inventory management Warehousing and logistics Advanced analytical skills using MRP in a manufacturing environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Exposure to warehousing / inventory 5s and lean principles Industry body experience such as CIPS or APICS is sought, also degree qualifications will be seen favourably, but more importantly will be your relevant background and experience Culture The company culture promotes autonomy and values staff, offering continuous learning and development opportunities.
