An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services at the Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland.
Your opportunity:
* To provide expert clinical and client-centred care within the Drug & Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT) through shift-by-shift team leadership.
* Provide Clinical assessment, review, referral of clients presenting to Departments of Emergencies within the guidelines of the Qld Drug and Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT) Model of Service 2017.
* Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research within the Drug & Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT).

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
