SAPol Operations is a specialised vehicle fleet fitment branch and is committed to providing a first-class service to the South Australian Police and wider Government Services industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Storeperson to join our unique, specialised fleet build team. Key Responsibilities: Receive all Automotive inwards deliveries Automotive parts interpreting Maintain the inventory control system and perform stock takes when required Be accountable for inspecting & checking materials for damage Handle and store hazardous materials in compliance with company and other legal requirements Issue automotive parts, materials and tools to vehicle build team Return defective parts to suppliers or customers and follow up for disposition of quarantined items Maintain the quarantine log and use the Purchase Order book to order goods as required Control all paperwork associated with the store operation Comply and adhere to all Prixcar HSEQ policies including but not limited to hazard and incident; reporting, site rules, participate in all training and returning to work programs Must comply and adhere to State and National Legislation Other duties as required by management About you: Experience in the Automotive Stores role and Parts interpretation 12volt electrical aptitude or experience Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Intermediate Computer skills People person with a 'can do' attitude who is passionate, energetic and shows initiative Organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team A current driver's licence and forklift licence Prior experience in the auto industry advantageous Mechanical/ electrical aptitude advantageous If you feel that this challenge and opportunity is right for you, we would love to hear from you Prixcar is an employer of equal opportunity and encourages and values diversity and inclusion.
