The role is crucial to ensure the surveying requirements across sites are met and offer insights, advice, and commentary in regards to high precision guidance to improve processes and strategies on a number of open cut coal projects.About you:You will come from a similar background, with a minimum of 3 years exposure to open cut coal mining operations, hold a relevant survey degree qualification, and be registered in Queensland (or be working towards getting it). Your proven experience, positive attitude, and team-focused approach will see you succeed in the role. Strong safety engagement and the ability to form strong interdepartmental relationships will be essential.Key duties and accountabilities:Relevant Surveying QualificationPrevious experience surveying mining operations in accordance with site plansAbility to prepare survey plans and reportsAbility to manage the surveying equipmentDemonstrated problem-solving skills and strong communication skillsCompetent in the use of packages such as Trimble, Vulcan, Deswik, PointStudio, Agisoft Metashape, ArcGIS ProWhat the role is offering:A highly competitive salary package, great working environment, established contracts coupled with an experienced and driven leadership team offer you the chance to drive your career and experience to the next level.
