One of QLD's & Australia's largest local councils is looking for a candidate to join the team and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll provide technical advice, manage contractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within standards. You’ll also coordinate project activities, resolve technical issues, and maintain compliance with construction and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and supervise construction projects, including managing contracts and contractor performance. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications for quality and compliance. Address technical issues and ensure project adherence to health, safety, and construction standards. Provide updates and regular technical advice to stakeholders. Prepare technical reports and support project improvements. What We’re Looking For: Experience in construction project management. Strong understanding of construction and safety standards. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management. Valid C class driver’s license and Construction Induction Card.
