The Role We are seeking a visionary Sous Chef to inspire our dynamic kitchen team, bringing their passion for fine dining and refined Mediterranean cuisine to life. This highly creative role involves: Dual Venue Experience : Split your time between supporting our new wine bar concept featuring Mediterranean small plates and exclusive farm events, allowing you to explore different culinary challenges. Menu Development : Collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to craft innovative menus that showcase local produce and your personal culinary flair. Culinary Leadership : Manage and mentor a small, skilled team, cultivating a collaborative atmosphere that values creativity and high standards. Service and Flexibility : The wine bar operates Friday and Saturday evenings, with the potential for an additional service night as the concept grows. The position comes with a 38-hour workweek, with reasonable overtime as needed. Your Profile To excel in this role, you will need: A Fine Dining Background : Extensive experience in premium or fine dining establishments, with a focus on Mediterranean and modern small-plate cuisine.
