Sage Education and Childcare Belconnen is a seeking an Office Administrator with qualifications and a professional history in the Early Childhood Education sector to join our team. Sage is in the heart of Belconnen, close to the mall, public transport and community areas. Onsite parking is available. The Office Administrator will closely work with our leadership team to deliver outcomes for children and their families. You will be responsible for administrative tasks including supporting the leadership team to deliver professional communication, events management, enrolment of new children, ongoing enrolment management, and employee recruitment tasks. Financial administrative tasks including accounts and CCS management. The role will include various time across the week supporting educators in the care and education of children.The role requires the candidate to have excellent administrative skills including written and verbal communication, sound knowledge of software including excel, Microsoft office and prior experience with Xplor software will be valued. The role is for 38 hours per week, the applicant must be available across the week to support the operational hours of the centre in a range of shifts between 7:30am – 6pm Monday to Friday.About Us Sage Education and Childcare is committed to delivering high quality education and childcare to the Belconnen community. Essential requirements to be successful Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and a demonstrated commitment to the implementation of these processes. Knowledge of statutory requirements, regulation and legislation relating to the provision of Education and Care Services including CCS and reporting requirements.Highly motivated and committed individual with an ability to work independently and in a team environment, including in high pressure situations with competing priorities.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and mange relationships effectively with a variety of stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing support to the Director in all areas of administrative procedures, family and community relationships and staff professional development.Effective problem solving and negotiation skills, demonstrating an empathetic and professional approach A sound understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation to ensure a safe and healthy work environment Your Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualification: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareCurrent Working with Vulnerable People CardExperience in administration, or a similar role is desirable First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training The successful candidate must have full Australian working rights.
