We know that teams work better inside dynamic collaborative workplaces, and we work with our clients to improve productivity and implement goal-driven change!About the role As the successful applicant, the Technical Specialist will work full-time in our Rockhampton office; for those transitioning from other IT areas, this is your chance to enter a sector where your interest in technology can be the foundation of your professional advancement!Your duties will include but not be limited to:Troubleshooting/resolving issues related to Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 environmentsPrioritising and troubleshooting customer requests efficiently, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while continuously improving service deliveryInstalling/configuring/upgrading systems (incl. Microsoft 365, network devices, desktop PCs, and peripherals)Assisting with migrations to cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) and manage hosted systems.Troubleshooting and configuring network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet)Using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to monitor system health and ensure endpoint protection, including AV managementCreating & maintaining detailed documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting stepsPerforming on-site support and client visits as required for escalated or complex issues.About you To be successful in this role, you will need the following:Full Australian working rights essential2-5 years+ experience as an MSP Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer or Technical Support EngineerStrong knowledge of Windows Desktop (knowledge of Windows Server advantageous)Demonstrated working knowledge of PSA systems (incl.
