Job Description
As WT continues to grow and evolve, so does our fabulous People & Culture team!
The Learning & Development Specialist will be a valuable addition to the team and is responsible for developing a dedicated learning strategy for WT.
This role is responsible for designing, implementing & delivering learning and development programs & materials that help build capability and improve the learning experience at WT. If you like to dabble in organisational development, there are opportunities to work with the broader team in enhancing our performance & development review, and succession management, processes.
The Learning & Development Specialist position will act as the principal point of contact for any questions relating to learning, training & development, and will champion a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
If you are a standout professional with proven experience as an L&D Specialist, Training Manager or similar, then this is the role for you! We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of adult learning programs and a demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop L&D strategies and associated plans.
Ideally you will have some experience or understanding in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software will be highly valued, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills, and facilitation and presentation skills.
Please note, this role has the possibility of being both a full-time role or a 4 day part-time week, and being a National role, we're open to location based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Qualifications
2. Bachelor’s degree in HRM, psychology, education, and/or related professional services experience
3. Certificate IV Training and Assessment 6 and/or a qualification in a relevant discipline
4. Accreditation/certification in relevant diagnostic assessment tools
5. Excellent coaching, mentoring and influencing skills
6. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
