This role is crucial in managing the financial records of the College, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. The Bookkeeper/Accountant will handle financial transactions, payroll, budget management, and report preparation. The role will have flexibility around hours to equate to 3 days per week, but will be located in Caloundra. Key Responsibilities: Weekly payment of invoices and reconciliation of credit cards. Fortnightly bank account reconciliations. Receipting of all income, including donations. Monthly budget updates and monitoring. Payroll management, including fortnightly processing and timesheet management. End of month and end of year payroll processes. Assist with financial audits and grant acquittals. Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports. BAS and IAS preparation. Qualifications and Skills: Bookkeeping or Accounting qualifications. Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB desirable). Previous experience as a bookkeeper or accountant. Understanding of basic accounting principles and finance within a not-for-profit or school environment (desirable). Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office suite.
