The Finance Project and Performance Lead will collaborate with the Finance Team and business units to lead the discovery and response to strategic opportunities, enhance financial performance through reporting and improvement efforts, advance key initiatives and grasp risks and challenges that have substantial impacts on the RFDS. About you Bachelor Degree in Business or Commerce, with a major in Financial or Management Accounting CPA/ICA or similar qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence at all levels Extensive experience in business partnering, financial and performance analysis, and a deep understanding of complex budgeting and planning processes within a not-for-profit Change management experience Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, sometimes working with incomplete information A demonstrated ability to evaluate and enhance work systems Demonstrated capacity to operate effectively in an environment of change About the role Provide analytical, financial, and commercial decision support to enhance financial awareness and accountability Develop financial models and perform cost-benefit analyses for business cases Conduct high-level financial reporting, variance monitoring, and trend analysis Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis and guidance to influence strategy Identify and address performance issues through process analysis Utilise technology to improve processes and identify opportunities Lead key Finance strategic projects with senior leaders Ensure successful implementation of Finance projects and initiatives Foster a culture of performance management and improvement Apply financial controls and risk management for governance and compliance Benefits Full-time, initially for six months with possibility of extension Salary packaging - up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses Novated Lease options Hybrid work environment and flexible hours (work from home options available) Jandakot based office Free parking About Us The RFDS provides aeromedical retrieval services and primary health care across the largest health jurisdiction in the world, assisting more than 20,000 patients each year.
