Chorus is a WA-based organisation with close to 1000 team members and volunteers who support seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with a disability. Our purpose is to enable people to live the life they choose at home and in the community. We've designed a structure that focuses less on management and hierarchy and more on the things that matter – relationships, customers, and communities! Our network of small local teams enables Chorus people to be more connected to each other and feel a sense of belonging.
About the role
Working for Chorus will be different to any experience you have had so far. You will be part of our Enabling team whose primary objective is to enable our Locals provide the best possible customer service to our customers, within their home and their local community. We focus on outcomes not hierarchy and organise around the work rather than reporting lines and single discipline teams.
You will have initiative and be inspired by the opportunity to work differently, learn constantly and be an active collaborator to help everyone at Chorus be at their best.
This role will be a part of fulfilling on our People Commitment and be responsible for the work that ensures Chorus People are paid on time, correctly and according to the requirements covering the social and community sector.
What you will bring:
End to end payroll experience including complex system integration Experience with MYOB (ideally in Payglobal but not essential) Employment Hero / Keypay / Sandwai experience will be highly regarded Accounts payable experience will be highly regarded Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines with a focus on accuracy and problem solving Excellent communication skills with a flexible and collaborative approach Some familiarity with awards and their interpretation Willingness to engage beyond payroll and grow with the organisation Must have requirements:
Current Western Australian Drivers Licence Own vehicle. Proof of eligibility to work in Australia NDIS Workers Screening Check Willingness to do some time with customer What we can offer you:
