Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time Key Responsibilities: Strategic advisor on WHSE policies and practices, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations. Leads the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives across multiple sites. Position Overview: Reporting to the WHSE Manager VIC/SA/NT, this role will be responsible for leading the WHSE function within Interior Systems across Operations & Logistics at Yarraville. You will play a significant part in driving a high-performance culture that optimises operational efficiency and sustainability. This hands-on role will provide practical WHSE advice and support to our people whilst continually driving WHSE in a positive direction through the implementation of robust Management plans. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required between our Yarraville site and Hallam/Derrimut Distribution centres. Key Accountabilities: Facilitate activities which drive or embed WHSE initiatives. Drive each site's risk reduction plans and lead a strong culture of incident reporting. Support site management teams to implement CSR key risk programs, system standards and hazard standards. Champion agreed CSR initiatives e.g., Never Walk Past, Guarding Improvement, Chain of Responsibility & risk reduction plans. Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of efficient processes and systems. Establish and maintain culture ensuring compliance in accordance with WHSE standards and responsibilities. Partner with site management teams to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive prompt close out of agreed actions. Be an influential leader within the WHSE and enable stakeholders to make confident decisions. Assess performance and use insights to identify gaps and prioritise actions to comply with legislation and perform to CSR WHSE standards. Lead the WHSE Business Partner to achieve specific targets and key performance measures. Oversee and manage Return to Work (RTW) programs, ensuring effective reintegration of employees following injury or illness. About You: Previous experience within a similar role & managing multiple sites. Excellent communicator at all levels. Positive thinker who wants to collaborate for solutions rather than focus on problems. Demonstrated background in achieving Health Safety and Environment objectives, ideally within a similar environment (Manufacturing, Construction or Heavy Industries with a higher safety risk background). Proven leadership capabilities with well-developed team leadership skills. Able to engage and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels. Able to interpret standards and help others through continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to inform strategy, deliver systems, and work to standards.
