As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Kawana, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. About Kawana: Kawana is a welcoming 75-place centre conveniently located next to Kawana shopping centre and just a block away from Buddina Beach. We cater to children from 15 months to school age, offering spacious, air-conditioned rooms filled with engaging toys, books, and learning resources. Our dedicated team of experienced educators work closely with families to create tailored programs aligned with the ELYF. We also offer an approved Kindergarten program, led by an ECT, with strong connections to local schools to support a smooth transition to Prep. Our vibrant outdoor spaces feature shaded playgrounds, sandpits, vegetable gardens, and sustainability initiatives, providing endless opportunities for exploration and growth. In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team. Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence. Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
