This is a full-time position in a dual role-providing both chairside assistance and reception/front desk support.

About the RoleHours & Schedule: Clinic open: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM From May 10th, the clinic will also operate on Saturdays for booked patients (some reception and payment duties) Fortnightly hours: 76 hours, with two flexible roster options: Option 1: 3 long shifts (8:30 AM - 7:00 PM) + 2 short flexible shifts Option 2: 4 long shifts + 1 RDO (with team rotation to cover the RDO shift) Start Date: ASAP - but flexible for the right candidate.
Key ResponsibilitiesChairside/Clinical: Assist with general and cosmetic dental procedures Set up and maintain treatment rooms Sterilisation and infection control Take radiographs (if qualified) Manage stock levels and ordering Ensure high levels of patient care and comfort Reception/Admin: Greet patients and manage appointments Handle phone calls, enquiries, and recalls Process payments and health fund claims (HICAPS) Maintain accurate patient records Support overall front desk operations About YouWe're looking for someone who is: Passionate about patient care Confident working in both clinical and reception settings Flexible, team-oriented, and proactive Committed to helping the clinic continue to grow Skills & Experience: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or currently studying) Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental assistant or reception role preferred Previous experience in a dental clinic highly regarded Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills Professional presentation and attention to detail Familiarity with dental software (e.g.
