We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the Digital Power team as a Project Engineer in our Sydney office.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of electrical SCADA.Responsibilities:Design, configuration, and testing of electrical SCADA.Follow engineering processes and project deliverables in line with the project plan.Technical responsibility in the project delivery cycle from documentation preparation, support to order the correct hardware and software, configuration, testing (internal validation, factory testing, integrated testing, site acceptance, commissioning, and support once the system is operational).Liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team to specify, design, and test the project, whilst meeting the required technical standards.Support the project manager in controlling projects effectively in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, financial control, and general reporting (internal / external).Ensure agreements with customers for material/documentation lead times, delivery, reliability, and quality are achieved within the budgetary constraints agreed upon within the unit.Support in developing and mastering technologies like cybersecurity, microgrid, virtualization, etc.Ideal Candidate:Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Degree or Technical Trade background, 5+ years experience in a similar Engineering role.Industry experience with SCADA for electrical systems like EcoStruxure Power Operation, EcoStruxure Power Automation System (EPAS).Knowledge and implementation of projects with IEC 61850 standard.Knowledge and implementation of protocols like Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104, OPC UA.Exposure to Schneider Metering products & PLCs.What We Offer:Inclusive Culture: We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from all, including women and the LGBTQI+ community.Family-friendly Policies and Flexibility: Hybrid work environment, Paid Leave, Carer's Leave, Grandparent Leave, Community Service, Family and Domestic Violence Leave, Miscarriage Leave, Child's first day of school.Career Growth Opportunities: With access to over 50,000 learning solutions, you'll have the support to shape your unique work-life journey.Inclusive Leadership and Mentorship: Networking programs tailored to support you in growing your career.We aspire to be the most Inclusive and Caring company in the world, by providing equitable opportunities to everyone, everywhere, and ensuring all employees feel uniquely valued and safe to contribute their best.
