Driver Hire is currently seeking an experienced HR Hook Bin Truck Driver for a casual position based in Salisbury, QLD. If you have a passion for driving and are looking for flexible work, this is the perfect opportunity to join our team.
This role involves transporting bins across the local area using a hook lift truck, with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.
Role Overview: As an HR Hook Bin Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving and operating a hook lift vehicle, collecting, transporting, and delivering bins to various locations in and around Salisbury and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and operate an HR (Heavy Rigid) hook lift truck to safely transport bins to and from various locations.
* Perform safe loading and unloading of bins using the hook lift system.
* Ensure the truck is well-maintained, conducting daily safety checks and reporting any issues.
* Follow all road safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific requirements.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
* Accurately complete any necessary paperwork or delivery logs.
* Assist with other tasks on-site as needed.
Skills & Requirements:
* Current HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence.
* Experience operating hook lift trucks, or willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of road safety regulations and local traffic laws.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to work independently, manage your time, and stay on schedule.
* A reliable work ethic and commitment to safety.
* Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred but not essential.
