About the Role We are seeking expressions of interest from Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on our Byford Rail Extension project, based in Armadale, Perth, Western Australia. The roles will assist with procurement, contract administration of packages and be responsible for optimising margin whilst protecting the company from commercial risks. Key responsibilities Delivering the commercial requirements of the project Ensuring accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting of project costs Maintaining registers and productivity on the project whilst at all times adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies & procedures About you A construction management, building, engineering degree or equivalent coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry. Already obtained or be working towards MRICS You will also possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
