Hudson is proud to partner with a leading QLD government department to assist them in the recruitment of an 'End Point Protection' specialist to guide them on a large scale EDR/XDR migration.
* 12 month initial contract
* Up to $1200 per day
Responsibilities
* Guide resources in design, deployment, configuration of End Point Solutions (EDR and XDR).
* Work with project teams to make sure effective plans and coordinate resources
* Make sure the security solutions are designed and implemented in a way that is fit for purpose and maximises effectiveness
* Focus on continuous improvement, seeking out ways to uplift the system and security accordingly where possible
* Tune end point security controls based on known threats and threat intelligence feeds
* Maintain EDR and XDR platforms as required
Requirements
* Proven experience working on End Point Protection projects (EDR and XDR, e.g. Defender, Crowd Strike) (migration and implementation) from conception through to delivery and implementation
* Understanding of the broader security/IT fundamentals including network architecture, security protocols/best practices, SIEM and SOAR platforms
* History managing and configuring security tools such as next generation antivirus software, data loss protection, etc.
* Ability to work as part of a larger team delivering security services to a complex and widely spread IT environment
* Working experience in Microsoft environments with experience using products like Microsoft Entra and Active Directory, Windows 10/11 operating systems, etc.
