ABOUT THE ROLE :
We are looking for someone who values teamwork and has a high regard for quality client service. This role provides the front-line services and has the responsibilities of guiding our patients through administrative and financial aspects of their treatment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
* Providing high quality reception and secretarial services to the patients & doctors.
* Greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone.
* Scheduling appointments for patients.
* General office and administrative duties.
* Opening and closing the clinic as required.
* Organizing & tidying up the workplace/doctor rooms.
ABOUT YOU:
A pleasing personality with at least one year administration or reception experience required & knowledge of Medicare and Private billing.
Strong communication and intermediate IT skills.
Ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast paced environment.
Friendly and approachable.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Experience using Medical Director/Prac Soft software (advantageous)
Attention to detail.
Good time management skills and ability to demonstrate initiative.
Ability to work autonomously in a busy team environment.
Professional and courteous manner.
Previous medical receptionist experience is required.
