About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Surveyor to join a dynamic team working on key infrastructure projects. Reporting to Senior Management, you will play an integral role in delivering various types of surveys, from construction set-out to 3D scanning. The role offers the chance to take initiative and be responsible for executing projects to high standards, with training provided for rail-specific works. Key Duties: Conduct construction set-out, heavy rail, detail and level, and monitoring surveys Perform control and work-as-executed (WAE) surveys Work on 3D scanning and BIM modelling projects Collaborate with field teams or work independently as a one-person operation Liaise with stakeholders and ensure all work adheres to WHS requirements Skills & Experience: Formal qualifications in Surveying or Geospatial Engineering (University or TAFE) Minimum 2 years of experience leading survey parties on large projects Ability to work both independently and within a team Experience with 12d, 12d Field, Magnet, Trimble, and ACAD software preferred Hold a current driver's license Knowledge of QA procedures and railway surveys in NSW (favourable) Experience using Leica and Trimble equipment (preferred) About Ignite: Ignite is a leading recruitment and technology solutions provider with over 40 years of experience.
