Our Consulting team in Sydney is on a growth trajectory and as aresult we now have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join ourteam and lead the delivery of projects and programs from strategythrough to execution and support the development and enhancement oftools, processes, and practices by bringing new ideas and thinkingto the table.

Engagements may include (and are not limited to):
* Strategy, Portfolio Prioritisation and Planning
* Operating Model design, implementation and review
* Transformation delivery across programs and projects
* Business Performance Improvement
* Process optimisation
You’ll be responsible for:
* Leading the delivery of exceptional client outcomes as part of a BDO team delivering transformation programs and projects from design through to planning and implementation
* Facilitating sessions with leaders to create space for difficult conversations and achieve alignment on key areas of proposed models ( vision, people, process, technology)
* Leading the scoping of client needs, work planning and development of proposals, supported by the BDO team and capabilities
* Bringing different thinking and innovative ideas to solve client challenges
* Supporting our growth through developing and building on BDO products and tools
* Bringing together SMEs across people, process, and technology to deliver for our clients
* Driving projects from inception to close following a structured approach and best practice project management principles
This is a full-time opportunity and will require a high level ofprofessional autonomy focused on delivering outcomes for clientsand building the capability of the BDO Consulting team.You’ll be considered an expert in this space.
This will suit candidates with over 7 years’ experienceworking in a consulting environment (whether in-house or external)with experience aligning leaders to a clear vision, settingstrategy, planning, designing and implementing programs &projects and delivering change. This will involve bringing togetherSMEs across people, process and technology to deliver, whilstbuilding internal capability and creating tools and frameworks fordelivery.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* Experience in program & project management principles
* Experience delivering operating model engagements
* End-to-end engagement management experience from planning, budget & job management, engagement close
* Business development, bids and complex proposal management experience
* Experience in sizing engagements including scoping the skills & experience required, team structure and supporting pricing framework for delivery
* Drive, proactivity and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional client outcomes and build trusting relationships
* An interest and ability to create and enhance frameworks, methods, and toolkits to support delivery of client engagements
* Ability to mentor and support others and commitment to building capability within the BDO Team and clients
* Confidence and maturity to work with and facilitate consultations/sessions/discussions with senior leaders and executives to achieve an outcome
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent grasp of MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
* Enjoys working within a team environment and learning from others
