THE POSITION Assisting and overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of the breakfast buffet offer within the hotel, ensuring it is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials. Breakfast service times 6.30am-10.00am. Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating. Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to. Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation, and stock control. Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without compromise to the food safety guidelines provided. THE PERSON Chef's Trade Qualifications. Experience within a high-volume and fast-paced environment. Buffet experience within a hotel is desirable. A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends. Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate with juniors and senior members of staff. An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety, and HACCP regulations.
