About the role
Protech is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer for an urgent start in Mackay, QLD. Paying a competitive rate based on your skills with weekly pay and with the possibility to go full time for a long term career at the client. Daily working hours 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday. Key Duties
Report to the Supply Superintendent
Working in a team environment
Raising, approving and expediting all purchase orders
Communications with internal and external stakeholders
Capable of following general safe practices in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Act
Skills & Attributes
1. Current Drivers licence with reliable transport
2. Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to effectively and professionally engage with others
4. An honest and reliable work ethic
5. Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
