Join the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD). We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to be part of the Gosford Paediatric Inpatient Unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide coordinated, high-quality care for children and families, bridging hospital and community services. About You
* You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current driver's licence.
* You possess interest in Acute Paediatrics / Neonatal Nursing or Paediatric outpatient clinic with demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* You have an understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team with the ability to make informed clinical decisions and ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
Where you'll be working
The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients and clients of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to support quality care for patients/ clients.
The Gosford Paediatric Inpatient Unit provides a coordinated service between the hospital and community settings for the acute care of children and families within the Gosford LGA. The Registered nurse position will be responsible for providing acute and sub-acute nursing care within the context of a multidisciplinary, flexible model of care incorporating acute short stay, outreach/ hospital in the home services and outpatient clinics.
