The Hinterland Mental Health Service at the Clermont, Dysart or Moranbah Hospital is seeking applications for a Mental Health Clinician (Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse) to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity As a member of the Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS), this position will deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical services to consumers presenting with mental health issues in a rural setting. This will include intake/triage, clinical assessments, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatments as well as case management, group/family work across the service's programs as required. About the Team This position is part of the Hinterland Mental Health Service, located in Moranbah (200km west of Mackay) and provides outreach mental health services to Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Glenden. There is the expectation that successful applicants would travel to provide outreach to the above-mentioned locations and to Mackay for training and/or professional supervision on an ongoing basis.
