Fonterra is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our high-performing and collaborative Commercial team.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Consumer Oceania, you will play a key role in providing commercial support for our Oceania consumer business unit. You will partner with internal teams to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and budgeting while offering valuable insights to guide decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Financial Planning & Reporting - Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and business plans, ensuring robust analysis and accuracy.
2. Performance Insights - Monitor financial performance against targets, provide variance analysis, and recommend risk management strategies.
3. Month-End Processes - Coordinate month-end reporting tasks, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
4. Revenue Growth Management (RGM) - Leverage data insights to model different financial scenarios, aligning with both retailer and company objectives.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, S&OP, and Finance teams to drive efficiency and innovation in reporting and forecasting.
About You
As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will demonstrate a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex data to provide actionable insights.
In addition, you will have:
1. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. 3-5 years' experience in a commercial finance role, gained in FMCG or a large operating environment.
3. Strong Excel modelling, financial analysis, and reporting capabilities.
