Management Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Management Accountant.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership, a willingness to share knowledge and support to our Finance Team, and a dedication to ensuring smooth operations within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Gains a deep understanding of the Sales Administration process from start to finish to understand accounting principles involved.
* Corrects transactions and processes where appropriate.
* Gain a deep understanding of our Accounting ERP to understand back end, set up and integration to solve issues and set up users.
* Analyses company operations to identify opportunities for reduction in expenses.
* Gathers, reviews, and analyses statistical information and financial metrics.
* Makes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information.
* Examines accounting information contained in reports and exhibits, traces and reconciles unusual variances.
* Performs complex account reconciliations, and authorization of banking transactions.
* Communicates with others in the organization to answer accounting questions or resolve issues.
* Financial reporting as required to assist the Financial Controller and Organisation.
* Assists with recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees.
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register.
* Preparation of various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial management reports or statements, including PL, BS, tax returns, BAS, commissions etc.
Requirements:
* 3+ years in an accounting position.
* Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA).
* Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Knowledge of accounting systems.
* Desired experience in building and integrating PowerApps with other Microsoft products (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse).
