About the role
As a valued member of the Administration and Governance team you will provide a professional level of administrative support in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines. You will have a high attention to detail and exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills. Your duties will include but are not limited to, coordination of meetings with internal and external stakeholders, managing our fleet of Queensland Government vehicles, coordinating travel and accommodation, managing facilities maintenance and other general administration tasks as directed.
About you
As our ideal candidate you will be passionate about administrative processes, with a keen eye for detail. You can manage tasks efficiently within deadlines while maintaining high standards. You are proficient in using Microsoft Office software, adept at communication, and possess the ability to coordinate and support various administrative functions effectively.
Your responsibilities
In the role of Project Support Officer, you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide administrative assistance to stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines and to agreed standards.
• Provide administrative support to project managers as required to assist with the delivery of the QTRIP ensuring deadlines are met and legislative requirements are adhered to.
• Undertake fleet management tasks as directed, including liaising with regional staff on vehicle replacements, arranging external vehicle hire and home garaging reporting.
• Providing high level administrative support, including coordination of team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
• Provide high level administrative support using computer software including providing expert advice and support in the preparation and formatting of documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft and other applications.
• Participate in continuous improvement audits and provide assistance to the Advisor (Administration and Governance) when required.
Qualifications:
While qualifications are not mandatory, experience in a similar administrative role would be highly desirable.
