Your next career opportunityAs the Project Manager for the Training Hub within the Centre for Pathogen Genomics, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing pathogen genomics programmes across the Asia-Pacific.
You'll manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects, working with leading experts to enhance regional infectious disease surveillance.
This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on global health, while developing your project management skills in a dynamic, international context.Travel to countries across the Asia-Pacific will be required, including coordination of meetings and activities in-countryYour responsibilities will include: Lead Project Management: Develop and implement workplans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure successful delivery of funded initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with diverse stakeholders including universities, research institutions, and international organisations to facilitate Training Hub activities.Financial Oversight: Support budget management, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of projects.Strategic Development: Contribute to grant applications and proposals for new funding opportunities, supporting the Centre's strategic objectives.
You may be a great fit if:You are a highly organised professional with a background in public or global health, possessing excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in an international context.You may also: hold a tertiary qualification in public health, global health, or a related field.Have demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex projects.Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.Be proficient in developing project plans, timelines, and monitoring progress.Have experience working in global health development settings.Be familiar with strategic opportunities from external funding agencies.
