We are seeking a friendly and professional casual receptionist to join our team at West End Motor Lodge. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. The position offers flexibility with approximately 20 hours per week, including the possibility of a fortnightly Saturday shift.
No Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
2. Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
3. Manage room reservations and cancellations using our booking system.
4. Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
5. Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions.
6. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
2. Strong communication and organizational skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (training provided).
5. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
