You'll gain broad exposure to the full financial spectrum of client operations, with the opportunity to work on exciting projects such as IPOs, capital raises, R&D tax consulting, employee share schemes, and business structuring.Position Objective Reporting directly to the Director, this role offers a diverse and challenging workload. You'll take the lead on multiple client engagements, manage key financial aspects, and contribute to the strategic direction of client projects. Your role will involve a mixture of technical financial tasks and client-facing responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing and delivering client projects, including IPOs, employee share schemes (ESS), R&D tax consulting, and capital raises.Oversee the preparation of statutory reporting to ASX and ASIC, including half-year and annual reports.Manage month-end reporting, including the preparation of board papers.Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax obligations (Income Tax, FBT, GST).Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling activities.Support the development of policies and initiatives that streamline client finance operations.Contribute to internal projects and initiatives aimed at improving business processes.Mentor and manage direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience in internal finance, audit, or management accounting roles.Fully qualified CA/CPA finance professional.Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical proficiency in accounting and finance.Proven experience in managing client engagements and internal teams.Highly motivated, with a collaborative approach and the ability to balance technical excellence with teamwork.A strong willingness to learn and adapt to the healthcare sector.Why this role?
