The Role: Solicitor - Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office
Responsibilities
The solicitor will provide legal services, including advice, support, and representation, for child protection matters in various courts.
1. Appear on behalf of the Secretary in the Children's Court and related jurisdictions.
2. Manage allocated child protection litigation files with supervision, including effective client liaison and inter-party communication and negotiation.
3. Provide well-reasoned legal advice, briefings, and correspondence.
Work Environment
You will work predominantly with one of Statewide CPLO's legal teams and travel to various Children's Court locations and child protection offices.
